The honest position
What we spend, what we plan to spend, and what we have not published yet.
Most NGO transparency pages show only what flatters them. This one is organised the other way round: first the numbers we can evidence, then the documents that are still being prepared, clearly labelled as such.
Full project budget
The complete capital and recurring budget for the gaushala model, line by line, including projected income from dairy, biogas and organic products.
Audited accounts & ITR
Statutory audit, balance sheet and income-tax filings. These will be posted here as each financial year is signed off by our auditor.
Cost of care
₹35 a day, broken down
This is the daily feed schedule for one ten-cow unit and its cost, straight out of our project budget.

Feed per cow per day: 3.6 kg dry matter, 6 kg green fodder, 3 kg concentrate, plus mineral mixture and 40–80 litres of water.
What ₹35 does not cover
We would rather be exact than impressive. The ₹35 figure is feed only. It does not include:
- Veterinary treatment, medicines and emergency care
- Water supply, storage and pumping
- Shelter construction, roofing and repairs
- Staff, supervisors and skilled labour
- Rescue transport, diesel and vehicle upkeep
- Last rites and respectful disposal
Those costs are set out in the full budget below. When you give towards medical care or infrastructure, this is what you are funding.
The full budget
The complete gaushala model, costed
This is the budget we submit to government departments and CSR committees. It covers a fully built gaushala with dairy, biogas, panchgavya and organic farming units — the self-reliant model we are working towards, not what we operate today.
One-time build cost
Sheds and dairy, biogas plant, panchgavya and organic farming centres, veterinary facilities, water tanks and borewell, fodder godown, vehicles, boundary wall and CCTV.
Per year, to run it
Feeding and raw material, supervisors, skilled labour, water, power, fuel, management, accounts and legal — ₹1.82 crore of operations plus ₹28.2 lakh of other recurring costs.
Income the model can generate
From milk and milk products, biogas, panchgavya and cow urine, organic manure and an agarbatti unit — the route to a gaushala that funds its own running costs.
These are projections from a project proposal, not audited results. They describe what the
full model would cost and earn once built. We are at an early stage of that build.

Gifts on record
Much of what we run on never passes through a bank account.
A large part of our support arrives as material rather than money — bricks, tin sheets, straw, green fodder. These are recorded in our Impact Report, with the donors named and thanked. A sample of what came in:
Donated twice over by local supporters for shelter construction.
Dry fodder given in bulk — weeks of feeding covered in a single gift.
A standing daily supply of fodder from one supporter over several months.
Roofing material — the difference between shade and no shade in May.
